John Calley (engineer)

John Calley (died 1725)[1], a metalworker, plumber and glass-blower,[2] was Thomas Newcomen's partner. He helped develop the Newcomen steam engine, and his name is listed on the patent with Newcomen and Thomas Savery.[3]
